Reese A. Lee, M.Ed., ICAADC, NBCCH

Reese is a graduate of Houghton College and the Pennsylvania State University.  He has worked for over 40 years as a counselor in schools, clinics, as well as for the State of Pennsylvania.  Having worked in the field of addictions for many years, Reese is certified as an advanced addictions diplomate counselor, as well as being internationally certified in that field. In 2011, he became certified with the National Board for Clinical Hypnotherapists.  His interests include Internal Family Systems Therapy, as well as clinical hypnosis, which he finds to be a powerful tool in helping people to shorten the duration of therapy, particularly for depression, anxiety, smoking cessation, stress management, and trauma.  He works with people aged 12 through 64.

Mary is also a graduate of Houghton College and did graduate work at Penn State as well as Clarion University.  She will continue to help Reese in his transition to a sole proprietorship from the former Lee Counseling practice. Reese and Mary have been married for over 40 years. Mary has worked both as a teacher and in social services. 


Lee Counseling is now Reese A. Lee, Licensed Professional Counselor and his mission is to provide personalized, high-quality mental health care and substance abuse services to enhance the quality of life for individuals and families. His belief is that all people are valuable and unique and should be treated with dignity and respect. While recognizing the potential for change, an assessment of the client's emotional, physical, spiritual, and life experience is provided in a caring environment. The growth of the individual is promoted through a course of treatment developed in a timely and cost effective manner.  


The counseling practice is a private and limited offering individual, family, and group counseling to individuals in rural Clearfield and Centre Counties.  The quiet, rural office in a home setting offers the friendly, relaxed atmosphere often sought by individuals who are seeking help in facing life issues. Convenient evening  hours are available.
